30-Day Blog Challenge (Day 10)

I'm just going to go ahead and let you look at those for a while. Today I'm going to let you know about my favorite TV shows. Or, well. I'm going to talk about two of them. I have a lot more. These are the ones I would turn down sex for.
Not even kidding. AB once started making out with me in the middle of Deadliest Catch and I was like...no. And then he touched my boob and I got up and sat on the other end of the couch.
Well, oops, I spoiled one of them.
I love, Love, LOVE Deadliest Catch. My boat is The F/V Cornelia Marie, I want to marry Jake and or Josh, and I sobbed like a baby when I found out Phil had passed away, and again when the episode where he died aired. I also Love the F/V Northwestern despite Sig's douchiness (I actually had a sex dream about Sig once. That was bizarre). Basically, this show is my true love and I cannot, CANNOT wait for the new season.

Dr. Who? Oh my. I found out they had this on Netflix...and I proceeded to watch the entirety of season 1 and most of season 2. I've cried almost every episode I've watched.
I have a serious love affair with this show. Don't tell my boyfriend.

Apologies:

Dearest errybody.

Due to a large, drunken upcoming event, Cough Cough my birthday cough, I'm just going to go ahead and anticipate that I'm not going to to be posting this weekend through Monday. Also, the weekend after that.

So...my bad! I'm sure you all understand to some extent, right? right?

30-Day Blog Challenge (Day 9)

This post is one I've had written since I began. It may or may not be the reason I started this in the first place.

I have a lot of fears. Heights, tornadoes, losing the people I love, ending up alone- pretty standard stuff. But quite honestly right now, my biggest fear is something that I can't explain very well. It's bigger than itself, and it boils down to what I said in my very first post about 11:11 wishes-
"Give me strength to make the right decision, not the decision I want."
All in all it boils down to...Ch.

Ch. happens to be the boy that I'm planning on dating in the very near future. He's sweet, strong, stable, loving, and unless something goes terribly wrong he could end up being long-term. Also he's pretty goddamned gorgeous. What else can a girl want, right?
How about excitement, the butterflies, the...I don't even know! This is my problem!
By all reason, he should be the one I want, but there's something subconscious that's terrifying me.

See, there's this minor issue where...okay.
Over the summer, I met this guy (a different guy), N. Also really gorgeous, also made me week in the knees (okay, so most of the weakness was in my hoo-hah) but to an extent...I could have dated him. Would have dated him. Did fall for him. he then proceeded to ignore me for three and a half months because he was only in state for the summer. He want back to Colorado.
It hurt me. It hurt me ridiculous bad.
but he's the one that pulled me out of that fog I was in after A. broke up with me. It was a really bad place, like...considering walking out into traffic bad place. He is the one that brought me back to being myself. And he gave me the butterflies, that feeling of being overwhelmed by the pure honesty of the relationship. It sure as fuck wasn't love (how could it be? We saw each other eight times all summer) but it was more.

And...well, that's my fear. N? He's talking to me again. He wants to see me again.
I'm scared that I will chose the wrong choice.
My friends all think that the "wrong choice" is N. He ignored me for three months, after all. It's likely that the fact that he's talking to me is a booty call and nothing more. it was an extremely douche move, and most of the time I wholeheartedly agree with them.
But...what if Ch. is the wrong choice? What if I stay with him forever, we get married, have kids, and I have a pleasant, stable, BORING AS SHIT life?

What if he's the wrong choice? My logic says N. is the wrong choice, but something in my heart or deeper is saying that I'm murdering my wild side, all the adventure in my life just by saying, yes. I'll be your girlfriend, Ch.
But I'm more scared of being alone.

Taloodles.
Manda.

This isn't true anymore. my biggest fear? My baggage getting in the way of this relationship. He is exactly what I need, but I don't know if I'm ready. I don't know if I'm ready to let him take care of me. If I'm ready to be happy. And that's what scares me.

30-Day Blog Challenge (Day 8)

A place you've traveled.

So, first, a mini post in the middle of our challenge:
Craigslist's casual encounters section makes me LAUGH. I spend hours on it just reading.
I just thought I'd let you know.

Anyways.

So, somewhere I've traveled: Puerto Rico.
Here's a few of my favorite pictures.
The sad part, unfortunately...I was so hung up on a guy that I didn't see the beauty around me. I pretty much sat around and moped for the entire trip. I look at the pictures now and it makes me sad that I can only appreciate the scenery through pictures now. And oh, the pictures...
There was a labor protest parade while we were here- ironically enough there was also a gay pride parade in San Juan that week too. So we got to see both from the balcony of the condo we were staying in.
We went on a cave tour. Those were seriously overwhelming, but most of my memories from here involve wanting to vomit because my Dad was making out with my soon-to-be step mother. Making out in public, in these beautiful caves. Yeah. I don't want to talk about it.
Fresh water. One of my favorite pictures I took.

We visited old San Juan too, and the old fort there. It was really cool.
 Yeah...Captain Morgan-ing that shit.

30-Day Blog Challenge (Day 7)

Favorite Movies

There's not a lot I can say here: These are my favorite movies, hands-down, the ones I bring whenever I go somewhere for a movies night.
Holy Grail: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You say I don't love it as much as I think. You're gonna say that you can quote it better than I can or you might even say you can pick out the actors simply by their voices too. But you don't love it as much as I do. You didn't sneak it into the DVD player to watch the Castle of Anthrax scene because your Dad always skipped it when you were little. You haven't sat there with the guy you have a crush on and recited every single word. You haven't ever said, "Fuck N. Ch. can quote Monty Python and the Holy Grail without prompting."

Inception: Everyone loves this move, right? I'm not unique by loving this? Shut up. I almost got pushed off a balcony for the love of this movie (okay, I don't think AB would have actually pushed me off the balcony, but hey.)

V for Vendetta: That goodbye kiss between Evee and V brings me to tears every fucking time. EVERY TIME. I also give my brother credit for making me laugh the hardest I had in a while when he shouted "THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU" after the Priest pulled the pistol out of the bible. Yeah.

Dumb and Dumber: A bonding movie for me and more than one person. Another movie I can quote verbatim...not as fun to watch alone, surprisingly enough. "Just go man, just go...Ah, it's warm..."

The Breakfast Club: I watched this with my mom, Aunt M. and my cousin I once when they decided we were old enough, so there's the emotional attachment to it...and...I don't know. I just love it, what else do I have to say about it?

Wayne's World: WAYNE'S WORLD. PARTY TIME. EXCELLENT.
